The South: It is regarded as auspicious for the kitchen, due to its association with Agni Dev, the God of fire. Preparing food in this direction is believed to promote peace, harmony, and understanding within the family. However, avoid building rooms in the south direction, as it can lead to chronic health problems.
The East: This powerful direction is owned by Lord Indra and governed by the Sun. It is considered highly beneficial for both physical and mental health and happiness. The East direction attracts good luck, prosperity, and success for individuals. Astrologers suggest keeping this direction open and placing plants to harness the energy of the sun.
The West: This direction is ruled by Lord Varuna, the god of rain. It symbolizes stability, vitality, and strength. It holds the key to an individual's happiness and prosperity.
