If you don’t know who Elon Musk is, Aquarius, Google search him now and come right back. Seriously. He may just be your new hero.

A modern day genius, entrepreneur, engineer and innovative business man, he is the brain behind Tesla electric cars, PayPal and SpaceX, a program which, among other milestones, was the first to make a rocket from reusable parts, which could make space travel more affordable.

His company’s work on making solar energy more accessible and affordable is groundbreaking and quickly becoming a reality! Innovative and tech-savvy Aquarius should be fascinated by this non-fiction work that details Musk’s extraordinary life – and how technological innovation is changing the world.

2. The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami

Reading this notoriously creative Japanese writer is like stepping into a different universe. It’s hard to explain what this book is about, however, you will most definitely not be bored by it. A man’s wife leaves him and in his loneliness and confusion, he befriends the next door neighbor’s teenaged daughter. Sort of.

For the highly imaginative Aquarius, this book will be exactly the kind of challenge you relish, keeping you on your toes and engaged throughout as you try to navigate the gigantic, strange world of Murakami.

3. I, Robot by Isaac Asimov

You might recognize this title by the 2004 movie made popular by Will Smith. What you may not know, is the movie was taken from only one concept from the original book. The story follows a robot psychologist, as she recounts her career in robot development.

Set in the future where robots are an every day part of our lives, she describes how that came to be – and all the problems that came with it. I,Robot is a story about humanity – and how a man-made machine might navigate a world where they are treated as second class citizens, when they want to prove they have emotions as well.

Are they dangerous or helpful? Altruistic Aquarius should have a good time with this one, as leaving people out for any reason is not acceptable, and everyone deserves a chance.

4. The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand

Okay, this book is definitely not for everyone and it is a tome to be sure. However, it’s one of the ultimate books about non-conformity and the price of maintaining your personal integrity no matter what happens to you. It’s a beefy book, but it involves a character so independent and self-assured in his beliefs, that he won’t bend for anyone or anything.

Rebellious Aquarius does not work well with bossy people, or anyone who would challenge their beliefs or create injustice. Opinionated, independent and firm in their ethics, Aquarius should be properly wowed by this long but philosophical and unusual tale of Howard Roark, an uncompromising architect.

5. A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving

Told from the perspective of his best friend, this highly intelligent, well-spoken and thoughtful boy is a mesmerizing character, and any Aquarius could easily identify with his sense of humor, purpose and reputation as a lovable and intriguing outcast.

Aquarius is a true individual, and has the ability to make their mark on anyone who comes into their lives, just as Owen Meany does. Even though you aren’t known to be emotional, Aquarius, it’s hard to imagine anyone reading this novel without getting all the feels.

These books can be enjoyed by anyone, but were particularly selected for you Aquarius!
