Do you ever feel confused? Silly question, right? We’ve all been there. But I’m not taking about the every day stuff. I’m talking about some of those bigger things in life. One minute you feel like you are in the best relationship ever, and the next you have the rug pulled out from under you. Instant confusion. Or maybe you wake up ecstatic to be in your dream job, only to arrive one morning to find your stuff in a bankers box on your desk with an explanation that just doesn’t make any sense. Instant confusion.
This happens to all of us a lot in life. And the leading cause of instant confusion in key life areas is a lack of communication. Or, poor communication. Or, intentionally faulty communication. Maybe your boss tells you that you got the slip because of performance, when really it’s because they want their niece to take your desk. And maybe your partner tells you that they gave you the slip because they just don’t want a relationship. When what they really mean is, their relationship with someone else interfered with the one with you. When people aren’t clear with us, it hurts. And this can be very damaging to our psyche and our soul. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a way to achieve clarity in these moments so that you don’t feel that confusion and hurt in these situations? Of course it would. And you can. By ensuring that your throat chakra, the energy center that controls communication, is sending and receiving clear messages every single time. And that is exactly what we are talking about today. How to receive the gift of clarity in all communications, by simply keeping that throat chakra nice and clear.
What is the throat chakra?
The throat chakra is one of the 7 chakras. These are invisible energy centers that are like spinning wheels of energy in various parts of our body. Each one rules a specific part of our spiritual growth. The throat chakra is our communication center, and is located in our throat right near our voice box. This chakra rules communication, and this means all communication, what is going out by you and what is being received by you.
When the throat chakra is blocked, so is our spiritual growth. And lies and deception are generally what plugs this up. Lies and deception create confusion. So if you find yourself confused in a major life situation, chances are, the communication you are either giving or receiving are not authentic. This is why having a clear throat chakra can give you the gift of clarity. You can’t control if someone is going to be honest with you or not. But you can control how you receive that message. Are you confused? Or clear about what is happening? That’s the difference between a clear throat chakra, and a blocked one. Here are some tips on how to keep that throat chakra nice and open.
1. Make some noise!
If your throat chakra is blocked, and you are feeling confused about a specific issue, or a general one, make some noise. Getting those wind pipes going is a great way to exercise that spinning wheel of energy that is your fifth chakra or throat chakra. Sing, scream, laugh out loud, talk, even talking to nobody is perfectly fine. Use that voice of yours in any positive way that you can. Listen to music in your car and sing at the top of your lungs. Practice having an awkward conversation with someone, with the mission statement that you only use words of love. Play a musical instrument until you are filled with joy, even if you don’t know how. Chant, hum, make a beat with something. Anything that gets your voice moving is exercising that throat chakra. The key here is to keep the exercises pure and love filled. You want that throat chakra to feel the love. There is no prescription for how often you should do this. If you have a weak throat chakra, the more you do this, the better. Once you get your vocal chords moving, and find some outlet like screaming or singing or laughing for it, you will be amazed at the clarity you find, and the revelations that come with it.
2. Put it in writing.
Writing is another form of communication. You may have met writers that are painfully shy, but write beautiful prose. They may never or rarely speak, but they have a clear and unblocked throat chakra that is enviable, and it manifests in their work product. If you are confused about a specific issue, put it in writing. You don’t need to show it to anybody, or maybe you want to show your thoughts to the person that is confusing you. But get it all out there. No matter what you are confused about. Write down your dreams, your actual sleeping dreams, your goals, desires, and even what you are confused about. Write it all down. Sometimes as you are writing you are met with flashes of inspiration, or ideas on why things are happening the way that they are. This is your instinct and your intuition sending you information. And this is what happens when we have a clear throat chakra. Suddenly, we have information from another Source that helps us to fill in those gaps. So, write it down, as much and as often as you need to.
3. Get unplugged and go radio silent.
If you want revelations and intuitive inspirations that will bring clarity and help you with an area of confusion, going radio silent is your next step. These revelations only come when things are quiet. There’s a number of ways that you can do this. A long walk with no phone or electronic devices can help. Meditation is one of the best ways to go radio silent. Where our prayers and wishes to the Universe are our communication with Source, meditation is the way we receive information from Source, it is our time of listening. Communication is an important part of an effective throat chakra, but listening is a huge part of communication. When you go radio silent, through walks with nature or through meditation, you put your soul and your psyche in a place that is ready to receive those revelations. What revelations of clarity and communication come to you when you go radio silent?
4. Think blue.
The color of the throat chakra is blue, the kind of blue that you find in the oceans. You can sharpen your fifth chakra and keep it aligned and clear by wearing and channeling the color blue. If you have a big presentation at work that you are confused about, put on a blue tie or a blue scarf right around that throat chakra. A blue suit if it’s a really big presentation! The United States recently had a political debate that was one of the most widely watched GOP debates in all of time. There were 11 candidates on stage. 10 of them were men in black suits. One of them was a woman in a royal blue suit. And guess who was dubbed the clear winner of the debates? The woman that wore blue. Think that’s not related? Think again. You can wear blue in the form of your attire, or blue gemstones around your neck, or even tucked into your wallet or purse. Think blue, and your communication channels open wide and clear, and clarity is abundant.
5. Be honest, and speak with love.
If you are getting confusing messages, make sure that you are doing your part to make sure that you aren’t at fault. The best way to always keep your throat chakra aligned and clear, is to always speak the truth, and always speak with love. The fifth chakra is blocked by lies and deception, and confusion. You can make sure that you are not a part of the problem, by following this very simple step. So if you are confused about something, just ask, honestly, and with kindness. And that creates a safe space and energy for your communication partner to respond in kind.
And there you have it. That’s all you need to know to keep your throat chakra or your fifth chakra aligned and perfectly clear. This is not a one off thing. This is something that you want to do that takes practice and effort. How are you going to clear your throat chakra?
