Greetings, Earthlings! I hope that 2019 has gotten off to a magical start for you. Every new year brings our biggest dreams to the surface, all across the globe. A new year, a fresh page, a tabula rasa filled with the promise of new beginnings. We have a lot of fun stuff coming at us from the Universe this year that will help some of those dreams come true.
Let’s talk about one transit in particular that will occur on January 14: the Jupiter square with Neptune. This, at first glance, can appear uncomfortable. But today we are going to talk about how to use this energy, and energy like this, to channel your dreams and unlock some luck potential. So let’s get started!
So, although squares in astrology generally represent tension, that doesn’t mean we can’t learn from them and embrace their fullest potential. The planets and their energies may be at odds, but there is also a line joining them, and an invisible line between them at the opposite ends.
Now to the planets. First, we have Jupiter who is the launcher of this square, because Jupiter is the moving planet in this transition. Jupiter is the biggest planet of them all, the god of all gods, and the planet of luck, optimism, and generosity. Jupiter is the energized planet that rules the energized Mutable sign of the Fire signs, Sagittarius. Sagittarius is a quick mover and adventurer thanks to its ruler Jupiter.
Already we have some pretty fantastic themes running here, even though we are dealing with a square. We have a lot of lucky energy happening here!
Second, we have Neptune in this square. Neptune is a bit slower moving, smaller, and a watery body that rules the Mutable sign of the Water signs, Pisces. Pisces embodies the watery nature of Neptune, and thus is more emotional and creative which is what the Water signs bring to the table.
But also, Neptune is the god of dreams and fantasy, and it uses its watery elements to weave some fantasy and spin creative imaginations. The dreams aspect of Neptune is an important one. Pisces as a zodiac sign is very ruled by the Other World, dreams, and creativity, and it gets this energy from Neptune.
When we put these two planets together, we have the planet of luck, optimism, and generosity working with the planet of dreams and fantasy. And, even though they are “squaring off,” that tension can be used to unlock hidden messages of luck in your dreams.
How, you ask? Well, let’s have a look.
For example, if you are buying a new home right now, it’s the difference between dreaming about the home you’ve just put an offer in, and imagining that it looks like the Sistine Chapel that one of the Real Housewives of Wherever just bought, with an actual throne in every room.
So no. You probably aren’t getting that kind of a home. But, you are moving or relocating. The Big-ness of Jupiter energy working with the dreaminess of Neptune energy can make you feel like life is bigger than it is.
When you are in a square situation, as we are on January 14, that square pinches those dreams a little bit to make them more realistic.
And that’s why this square is so exciting!
We can still visualize our dreams, but the square is showing us the realistic nature of life and what we must do to achieve those.
Let’s talk about dreams in a little more detail.
There is an infinite amount of abundance in the Universe. Everybody has the potential to unlock it. Everybody with good karma deserves it, and is closer to those thrones than anybody else.
But, seeing it and getting it are two different things. This is the beauty of the Jupiter Neptune square. We see it, with a pinch of reality biting to show us what we need to do to get it.
So, how do we know? Our dreams and their meanings give us clues. Keep our Dream Dictionary on hand for this one, over the few days this transit is touching base in your life.
Everything around you is a clue. Not everything is a sign, but if something significant happens in your life, that IS a sign. You’ll know if you get a “feeling” associated with it.
You will get “feelings” associated with these things during your dreams when you are sleeping. That’s the importance of Neptune, as you are going to have more dreams that you recall when Neptune is making itself known in your day, or evening.
It’s one thing to visualize it when starting out of your cubicle at work. But the dreams at night send you messages of dreams and goals that you didn’t even know you had!
This is the time when you want to keep that dream journal beside your bed at night. Little cues and clues are coming at you.
Some might be big with Jupiter influence present. Some might just arrive, like a song you heard in your dream that appears during a TV commercial during the day.
Even a word, a street sign, a house number, a name, anything! Symbols like 11:11 may also appear more under this transit. The symbols that appear are yours to discover.
When they arrive, use our Dream Dictionary to determine their meaning.
Watch for those feelings, and expect them to be big signs with Jupiter present. You’ll know it’s “a sign” if you have one of those feelings. Maybe you’ll think of a person, place, or thing, or goal in your life when you experience those signs.
If you do, that’s your angels and guides, along with the power of the Jupiter and Neptune square telling you one thing and one thing only: You’re doing it right. You are on the right path. Keep doing what you are doing.
And that’s why Neptune energies combined with Jupiter energy is so lucky… and inspiring.
What luck are you wishing for?
It’s easy to get a little uncomfortable or awkward feeling when we are presented with a Jupiter and Neptune square, or, any square from the Universe. But it’s important to embrace the positive sides of this aspect and use THAT energy to its fullest potential. When you do, you unlock the luck that opens up that dream portal that is your pathway to success.
