Apart from our workplace, we spend the maximum amount of time in our bedrooms, sleeping. Hence, it is of utmost importance that our bedroom Vastu should not only be correct, but also should add on to the positive energy of the house.

Different zones have been allocated for the bedrooms of all family members. Avoid having your bedroom in the North-East and South-East corners of the house. A bedroom in North-East can lead to loss of wealth, obstruction in all works, delay in marriage of daughter and job loss.

The bedroom of the master of the house should be in South West only. A south-West Bedroom located in the earth zone provides stability and inner strength. The room in south-West can be used by the eldest member of the family. The Central South bedroom can also be used by the eldest son. Elderly people feel comfortable in the South-West. Grandfathers or those leading the family business should sleep in the South-West area of the house.

A Bedroom in south-East gives rise to insomnia and tensions in the house, leading to the couple being torn apart. Not only this, this corner is ruled by Agneya (South-East) which can lead to aggressive behaviour and dominance. However, children, especially those with shy personalities can benefit from this room.

The bedroom should not be in the central portion of the house. The central area of the house called the Brahmasthan is the source of energy and is a constantly vibrational force that goes against the basic function of a bedroom – one that provides peace and tranquillity.
