This is something you cannot miss! We hope you’re ready earthlings, because as of about a week ago, we entered an Aquarius stellium! Jupiter and Saturn both moved into Aquarius mid-December 2020, and Mercury entered Aquarius on January 8th, 2021.
The Sun joins them in Aquarius in a few days on January 19th, and Venus moves into Aquarius on February 1st. The Aquarius stellium lasts until March 15th, so over two full months, and all five of these planets will be in Aquarius at the same time, February 1st to February 15th.
Okay, but what does any of that even mean?
Keep reading. We have all of the details for you and how this is going to affect your Rising sign!
Change!
The natural ruling planet for Aquarius is Uranus, the planet of change, which makes Aquarius the sign of change. Helping us out, Uranus ended it is retrograde, so we can have an easier time managing change with Uranus moving forward.
Mars, the planet of energy and drive, is also now in the same sign as Uranus, Taurus, and the two will hook up next week.
This brings even more energy and drive for us to make change happen right now.
But (and a big but) Mercury will retrograde in Aquarius starting January 30th until February 20th. This might be when we have to focus on removing blocks and dealing with old issues that prevent us from creating the change we want, and then we can do it.
In the middle of that retrograde, we’ll experience a New Moon in Aquarius on February 11th, which can help us focus on the positives. We can take a second chance on a dream, restore hope, and get insights we need for change.
Last year in 2020, we had the Capricorn stellium of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in Capricorn (that turned out pretty dreadful), but this year, the focus is on the Aquarius 2021 stellium, at least for now. The Capricorn stellium lasted almost the entire year for 2020, but this Aquarius stellium is only for the next couple of months.
Hopefully, that makes it less intense!
There are only 10 planets (including the Sun and Moon, excluding the Earth), so having three planets in one sign means about one-third of the planets are just in one sign.
That is very concentrated energy!
That’s the main meaning of stelliums. It’s a lot of energy and focus in one place, and because there’s so much energy being funneled to one area, we must work to use it properly.
Stelliums can be squandered when they’re not being channeled into anything. Then they become exceptionally frustrating.
But when you do harness the energy and use it productively? They can be insanely potent and powerful!

If the stellium in your birth chart is in Aquarius, you may be someone who is always focused on the future, embraces your individuality and independence, and is an innovative, inventive mind. You can be open to change and likely need to change constantly. Otherwise, you get bored easily.
The Aquarius stellium man has to do things his own way and can be quite the rebel at times. He’s likely difficult to box in and full of brilliant, unconventional ideas.
The Aquarius stellium woman can be highly social, loving being around others and in big groups, though getting into dirty emotions may not be her thing. She can be a great humanitarian, though, and have a wider impact.

The 1st house is the house of new beginnings, so this can be an amazing period for you to focus on starting a new project or venture that you give attention to for at least the new few months, if not the next few decades.
After the Capricorn stellium last year, it also makes sense for the values you used to have to be no longer valid, and that is what changes for you.
This is also the house of money, so this may be a time when you change the way you manage money, the way you make money, what you spend money on, or how you save.
As the house of the mind, this can also be a time when you take time to learn something new, share the knowledge you have, or gather information or advice you need.
Your ideas and short-term plans can get attention too, and you can take advantage of opportunities to take action with the ideas you have, making them real.
This house is also ruled by the Moon, who governs our emotions, so you may focus on some emotional issues that need to be addressed and strengthen yourself emotionally.
The 4th house is at the very bottom of the chart, so you may also work on starting something from the ground up or improve the foundation of something important.
Creativity is likely to surge for you, so try to use that in a helpful, productive way. Creative pursuits may lead to big opportunities you don’t even see at the moment.
If you’re in a relationship, you can take it a lot more seriously, and this may be a time when you consider the next step, whatever that may be. If you’re single, you can give more attention to finding love and open yourself up to a variety of suitors.

Work opportunities may present themselves, and if you love what you do and have done things right, you can make significant progress, or at least get the idea that’s coming. If you hate what you do, this may be a time when you need to make a change as quickly as possible.
This house also rules health, so this would be a good time to make changes that improve your health and lifestyle. Little improvements can go a long way.
You may want to be more of who you really are in your relationships and can prefer the company of people who give you the space to do just that. You can be attracted to people who are unique and embrace that.
This can also be a time to improve balance in your life and bring in some peace.
You can come up with solutions to problems more quickly, which can help you feel more independent.
Tackling issues that have prevented you from being your true self may also be a focus during this time, and you can get way down deep to the root of the problem.
You can be extra independent during this time and comfortable doing things your own way. You may want more space when you’re making changes or thinking about the future.
The 9th house also governs beliefs, so you may change the beliefs you have to be more in tune with who you are now.
You can experience sudden, unexpected progress with the goals you’re working on or sudden and unexpected recognition and attention for work you’ve done. The public eye might find you, and it can seem out of the left-field, but deserving.
This house rules your friends and groups to experience changes in your friendships or with the groups you belong to.
You may also decide you want to have a larger impact on the world and be more charitable or humanitarian.
You can also work on change well in the background, or helping someone else to create change. You’re just not looking for the credit or the spotlight.
You can become much more intuitive, and you may gain sudden subconscious insights. You might change some spiritual beliefs or practices or take up some new ones that are on the unconventional side.
Mercury will retrograde in this sign starting January 30th, and this may be a time to slow down a little and be smarter with choices. The New Moon in Aquarius on February 11th helps shine a light where needed, improve optimism and hope, and brings second chances.
The Aquarius stellium lasts until March 15th, so we have a good chunk of time to work with this energy.
