On March 20th, the Sun moves into Aries, kicking off the 2022 Spring Equinox (also called the Vernal Equinox)! This Spring Equinox comes with a Full Moon in Virgo two days before, so it’s a bit more emotional than it typically would be.
Full Moons are emotional energy, and in Virgo, we can be emotionally focused on getting things done as we go into the Spring Equinox. There may be lots of little things that we need to wrap up as we’re closing the chapter on the season of Winter and coming out of hibernation.
On the day of the Spring Equinox 2022, the Moon will enter intense Scorpio, which used to be ruled by the same planet as Aries (Mars), so these two signs have some affinity. We can be more passionate about what we want to move forward with, and work to put the energy we have to good use.
One week later, Mercury also enters Aries, and we go from sleeping on our ideas and keeping quiet about our plans, to shouting it from the rooftops and wanting to get going fast. Movement picks up in a big way, and with Venus and Mars in Aquarius, we may do so in new, different ways, while Jupiter still in Pisces helps keep intuition strong.
The Spring Equinox is traditionally a time of high energy and new beginnings, whereas the Autumnal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere begins at the same time.
How does this impact each zodiac sign? Of course, it’ll be a little different, and focus on something different, for each sign.
What’s in store for your zodiac sign?
These horoscopes will apply if you are in the Southern Hemisphere and celebrating the Autumn Equinox, but with a few slight differences. Both will be covered!
2022 has better energy for this, so we can get started and get momentum, especially over the next few months. There is a lot that we can still do, and the Vernal Equinox might be what kicks it off for you.
This can be scary, but the changes can be positive if you approach them correctly. Consider your options, gather information, remember your own wants and needs, and balance it out with others.

Clearing out the things that have piled up with the Virgo Full Moon can help make room for the new ventures you want to embark on, and you can fill the open space with energy for what you’re most passionate about at the moment.
Make sure you’re being true to yourself, but also considering how what you do impacts others. It can be easy to get wrapped up in your own desires, but you want to avoid inadvertently hurting everyone else.
Remember to keep doing the right thing for the right reasons. There may be punishments waiting in the wings if you don’t, and that’s the last thing you need, not to mention a waste of the potential new beginning energy available to you.
You may want to do some things in a new way and stick to the conventional with others, so balancing that may be key. You can trust your intuition if you’ve worked on honing it well and cleared out subconscious baggage.
It may not seem like much on the outside, but you can set yourself up well moving forward, and this can get you moving much quicker when opportunities present themselves.
The Virgo Full Moon may encourage you to take a creative approach to everything you work on now, and you can take inspired action.
Your connection to your soul can be of help to you now, and you can ground yourself internally so you can boldly tackle what you need to.
The Virgo Full Moon may want you to hit your stride with something or take responsibility with something first, and this can be a lot on your plate at times, but likely nothing you can’t handle. At the same time, old responsibilities that aren’t really yours to shoulder may require you to let them go once and for all.
You can feel bolder and more willing to take the action that is necessary for you to take right now, and this can help you pursue opportunities that you’d normally shy away from.
Believe in yourself, and in your abilities.
Staying true to yourself can also be something you want to work on, and that can help put you on the right path in your life.
You may want to focus on creative goals with the Scorpio Moon, at least right around the eclipse, and can work to transform or take bold action with anything you need to. You can balance being both optimistic and realistic, helping you create the best of plans.
The Virgo Full Moon may call on you to speak your mind so you can show yourself how confident you are in your plans, and narrow your ideas so you can make strides more quickly. Your mind may need an outlet if you’re feeling scattered or anxious, so do take care of your mental needs in a healthy way.
Second, you must try to see what you learned from it. How have you grown and evolved? You’re likely reaching new heights and those old failures were a stepping stone or catalyst for something greater.
You likely have a solid understanding of the realities, so you know that things may not go well, but you can see how that may come to pass and try to cut it off at the source to improve your chances. You may get help from others, and working with others could inspire you to have more belief in yourself.
The Virgo Full Moon may prompt you to slow down with something and make sure you’re grounded and centered. This gives you a great jumping-off point, and you can keep moving with a solid base.
You may want to strengthen yourself internally, and this can help you open up further to opportunities and growth.
