Your Sign’s Weekly Tarotscope for September 5 – 11, 2022
Your Sign’s Weekly Tarotscope for September 5 – 11, 2022
Nov 22, 2024 3:27 AM

Infamous Mercury retrograde will be meeting us this week, alongside some other astrologically potent energy you’ll want to keep your eye on.

For starters, we kick off the week on the 5th with Venus, the planet of love and beauty, moving into practical and detail-oriented Virgo (even as we’re already amidst Virgo season).

On the 9th, that’s when we’ll be catching up with our old familiar friend, Mercury retrograde, which will be happening this time in diplomatic and peacekeeping Libra. The temptation to problem-solve and have important conversations is real, but moving slowly and steadily is important here.

And finally, we’ll have a Full Moon in intuitive Pisces on the 10th. It’s a busy week, which is why we turned to the Tarot for some help — let’s get all the advice and forecasting out of the way with one go, based on your zodiac sign!

Your Sign’s Weekly Tarotscope for September 5 – 11, 2022

Aries

Knight of Wands

Last week, Aries was urged to slow down with the Knight of Wands reversed.

This week, this bold card is upright again, signaling that you’ve taken note and are now ready to use this energy properly.

This means you’ve got the green light when it comes to actively pursuing your goals and taking a couple of risks too! Just remember to still keep in mind the lessons and warnings you may have received in recent weeks too.

Taurus

The High Priestess (Reversed)

Taurus is feeling out of sync with their intuition this week.

You might find yourself easily questioning right from wrong or differentiating up from down. The High Priestess reversed hints at this kind of disconnect, but that’s not all.

It’s also a sign that you might be striving a bit too hard to get answers when there’s no point in digging deep within the unconscious to explain something unexplainable.

In other words, right now is a time to give the intuition some rest and breathing room — don’t force something that isn’t ready to speak yet.

Gemini

Queen of Cups (Reversed)

When was the last time you checked in with yourself, Gemini?

You might not be ready to face the music, but your heart is simply singing — perhaps crying — for attention. This may seem dramatic, but the Queen of Cups reversed hints that you may have left your emotions unattended for some time now.

What are the signs? You might be feeling agitated, tired easily, and disconnected from everything around you. Sometimes the key is not to try to focus even more on the world surrounding you but spend some time within.

Cancer

5 of Wands (Reversed)

Chaos is in the air, and Cancer isn’t having it.

The 5 of Wands is a petty kind of conflict — it usually is an outbreak of passions and wills flying without a clear source, standing in for a lot of unexplained human chaos.

This week, the reversal of this card indicates that you’re trying to drown out that noise. Perhaps some of you have already internalized it and are now realizing you need some silence.

Cancer is often sensitive to these things; it’s important that you don’t try to suppress your genuine feelings about it should emotions arise, but a healthy boundary is still ideal as well.

Leo

10 of Wands

You’ve played all your cards, Leo, and you’re officially carrying too much weight.

There’s sometimes no more work to be done, no more solutions to be found, other than to just let go. The 10 of Wands really only finds us when we’ve hit our limit for real this time.

And you’re definitely at that point, probably even a little past it. Pass the baton to someone else, or drop some of your responsibilities entirely. The “can do” attitude can only go so far this week.

Virgo

The Hermit

Virgo is in their own alley this week with The Hermit on the table.

This contemplative card is actually assigned to Virgo, the corresponding energy for this practical sign. You may be feeling more like yourself this week, especially as we roll into Virgo season even more.

This isn’t always as comfortable as it seems, however. For some of you, this means reconnecting with parts of your authentic self you might have suppressed or disliked.

However, either way, this experience is a good one and important for making genuine progress this Virgo season (and this week).

Libra

Wheel of Fortune

Ready, set, free fall — it’s time for Libra to demonstrate some trust.

Trust in someone else? Trust in yourself? Perhaps, but above all else, the Wheel of Fortune asks that you trust the Universe.

Yes, this card is a beacon of good luck and fortune, but it’s only really at its ideal form when we allow it to work its magic. And this means surrendering a bit of control in that regard.

This week is all about what you’re willing to leave in the hands of the Universe; are you ready to say “yes” and take a brave step forward?

Scorpio

The Emperor (Reversed)

Scorpio, this week shows you wrestling with authority.

This might mean literally butting heads with an authority figure in your life, but The Emperor reversed either way hints at struggling with the concept of leadership and control in your life as a whole.

Maybe you want to step up to the plate to call the shots but can’t, or maybe you’re being prompted to but aren’t ready.

There’s not always a clear black-and-white answer to what is “right” or “wrong” for these quandaries, but take some extra time to plan, digest your surroundings, and move slowly — and remember to breathe, Scorpio!

Sagittarius

9 of Pentacles (Reversed)

Sagittarius may be struggling with abundance and indulgence this week.

Although the 9 of Pentacles usually indicates that you’re partaking in some of your well-earned rewards and perhaps engaging in self-care, the reversal here hints at potential discomfort with that.

You may be restraining yourself from enjoying yourself, saying “yes” to opportunities that you actually do deserve, or punishing yourself for relaxing.

This week involves wrestling with these uncomfortable feelings, but ultimately there’s nothing wrong with a little splurge, Sagittarius.

Capricorn

The Magician (Reversed)

Capricorn is trying to get into a productive, creative flow but having a hard time.

The Magician reversed is no fun; you may be feeling burnt out or lacking creative inspiration, not really sure what to do next. Some of you may have the ideas but not the resources, and for some others, it may be a mix of all of the above.

This energy is uncomfortable, but the only way through is through. Sometimes creating and just trying anything will get the ball rolling, even if it’s not exactly what you imagined in your mind.

Aquarius

9 of Swords (Reversed)

Aquarius has been having a strange set of weeks for a while now, and this week is all about peeling back the layers on that.

The 9 of Swords reversed spotlights some of your biggest anxieties, fears, and nightmares — even your bad habits. However, it also seems like you’re actively trying to make progress with these things and put them to rest.

And after all, in doing this, eventually it’s you who can rest properly. It’s hard for now but worthwhile down the line.

Pisces

The Sun

Pisces is feeling themselves this week, and for a good reason too!

The Sun always shines after a bit of hardship. We know what it’s like now to see all of the difficulties that first came before it, shaking off some harder events like The Tower or The Devil.

With those experiences under your belt, you’re now embracing a more authentic, fully-realized version of yourself. The path is clear now, and you’re ready to shine boldly upon it.

Full Moon Madness & More

As you know, the Full Moon is on the horizon, alongside many other astrological changes and shifts.

This week may seem busy, but the guidance you receive from the cards can make even the busiest astrological schedule seem significantly more manageable — less like a chaotic calendar and more like a game plan.

So, when you look to the week ahead, factor in the cards you received for a fuller, more well-rounded idea of what the experience ahead might look like.

And remember: you can return to your Tarotscope at any time to review the details!
